3 parts: Using glue Using cosmetics Removing glue
Some types of makeup require a different eyebrow shape, and sometimes you need to camouflage them completely to create a look. For example, this may be necessary if you are doing makeup for Halloween or just want to add some flair to your look. Prepare everything you need. You will need a glue stick, foundation and powder, as well as detailed instructions on how to do it correctly. Read this article and you will learn how to camouflage your eyebrows.
Part 1 Using glue
- Prepare everything you need.
Chances are you already have everything you need on hand. Before you start work, take all the necessary things. You will need:
- Glue stick (the kind kids use at school)
- A translucent powder that matches your skin color.
- A liquid concealer that matches your skin color.
Prepare your eyebrows and skin. Facial skin should be clean. Wash your face and remove all makeup. Do not use moisturizer or any other skin care products around your eyes. Lotions and oils should also not be used in this case.
Apply glue to eyebrows against hair growth. Thanks to this, the roots of the hairs will be covered with glue. Apply a glue stick from the outside to the inside of your eyebrows. Make sure the eyebrows are completely covered with glue.
Apply a second layer of glue in the direction of hair growth. Take a glue stick and run it in the direction of hair growth. Move from the inside of the eyebrow to the outside.
Use a brow brush to smooth them out.
Eyebrows should be positioned in the right direction. Use a brow brush (or an old toothbrush) to brush and smooth your brows.
- If you have thick eyebrows, you can distribute the hairs above and below the brow line. Do everything possible to ensure that the hairs do not rise above the surface of the skin, but lie tightly to it.
- Make sure your glue is consistent. After applying the glue there should be no lumps left. The more uniform the glue, the more natural your look will be.
Let the glue dry for ten minutes, then apply another coat. Apply glue in the direction of hair growth, and also try to ensure that the hairs fit snugly to the skin. If you have thick eyebrows, you can wait another ten minutes and apply a third layer.
Make small holes on the surface of the glue using an eyebrow brush. When the glue dries, the surface of the eyebrows will become hard and slippery. Therefore, before applying a layer of cosmetic, make small holes on the surface of the glue. You can make small holes or scratches that should resemble the surface of your skin.
Part 2 Using cosmetics
Apply a layer of translucent powder over the glue. To apply powder, use a brush or cotton pad, this will distribute the powder more evenly. Remove excess powder with a makeup brush.
Apply a layer of concealer, the darker the color, the better.
Apply another layer if you need to completely hide your brows. You can also apply a thicker layer to achieve results.
- If your eyebrows are black, use an orange shade of concealer.
- If your eyebrows are red, it is advisable to use a green shade of concealer.
This is the last step that will help you hide your eyebrows completely. If necessary, you can apply powder around the eyebrow area as well.
Part 3 Removing the adhesive
Use makeup remover to remove cosmetics. First remove a layer of powder and concealer using makeup remover. By doing this, you can easily remove the layer of glue.
Soak a towel in warm water. The water you use should be warm, closer to hot. You will not be able to remove the glue with cold water.
Hold the towel against your brow line for a few minutes. Thanks to this, the glue will become soft and begin to separate from the hairs.
Use a towel to remove glue from your eyebrows. At this point you can do it easily. Wet the towel again if necessary.
- Don't rub your eyebrows with a towel; wipe them gently. Otherwise, you may tear off hairs.
- If you have trouble removing the glue, apply conditioner and try gently combing your eyebrows. Alternatively, you can use alcohol.
Warnings
- Use only a glue stick. Super glue and liquid adhesives are not suitable for this purpose. In addition, they will not be easy to remove.
What you will need
- Glue stick
- Transparent powder
- Makeup base or concealer

Hello Makeup Lovers. In this article we will continue to talk about makeup for Halloween, but we will not look at a specific image, but rather a technique.
Surely you have more than once noticed in magazines and on TV the complete absence of eyebrows on models or a radical change in their shape? Why go far - pop star Lady Gaga periodically appears in the image “without eyebrows”.
So now it's time to talk about how to disguise eyebrows
We will mask the eyebrows for only one purpose - to draw new ones: higher/lower, thicker/thinner, houselike/straight, with a bend/without a bend, longer/shorter.
There are two ways to hide your real eyebrows. Let's start with the most expensive.
An expensive way to disguise eyebrows
To camouflage eyebrows, you can use special theatrical plastic (for example, Kryolan Special Plastic) or MAKE UP FOR EVER Plasto Wax.
- Step 1. Take the required amount of plastic or wax with a spatula, roll it into a “sausage” with your hands and make the shape flat so that the plastic/wax covers the entire eyebrow.
- Step 2. Apply the plastic/wax to the brow, using your fingertips to roll the edges to soften the edges.
You may also need theater glue (for example, Kryolan MASTIX) - if the skin is oily, then without glue the plastic/wax will not stay on the eyebrows for long. In this case, first apply a small amount of glue to the rolled out plastic/wax, then glue it to the eyebrow. - Step 3. Apply the foundation to the entire face, including the eyebrow area, and powder.
If you follow all the steps carefully and roll out the edges of the plastic/wax well, your real eyebrows should not be visible at all.
The plastic should be carefully removed with a spatula and fingers, the remaining residue should be removed with cleansers and cotton pads moistened with micellar water.
Less expensive way
For this method, we will need a regular glue stick for lilac-colored paper (the glue leaves a colored mark that allows you to accurately determine the location of application and then becomes discolored). This glue is easily washed off with cotton pads moistened with micellar water.
- Step 1. Comb your eyebrow hairs upward with an eyebrow brush.
- Step 2. Apply a layer of glue to the eyebrows from bottom to top, painting all the hairs.
- Step 3. Wait for the glue to dry (that is, when the lilac color becomes transparent) and set the glue with loose powder.
- Step 4. Repeat step 3 at least 1-2 more times, depending on the thickness of your eyebrows. For thin female eyebrows, most likely, one application of glue will be enough.
- Step 5. Apply foundation to entire face, including eyebrows, and powder.
You can regulate the degree of “disappearance” of eyebrows from your face by changing the number of “layers” of glue-powder.
Next, there is complete scope for imagination and creativity. Draw new eyebrows or leave the look without them at all.
