The medicine is available in the form of 10 mg tablets, which are taken orally during or after meals. To achieve the best effect, it is recommended to take Cavinton Forte for 2-3 months.
The drug is used for acute and chronic disorders of cerebral circulation, such as stroke, brain injury, atherosclerotic changes in cerebral vessels, arteriolosclerotic and angiospastic changes in the retina and choroid, arterial and venous thrombosis of the vessels of the eye. In addition, the medicine can be used to improve memory, treat movement disorders, dizziness, headaches, cerebral vascular spasms, age-related, vascular or toxic hearing disorders and autonomic manifestations of menopausal syndrome.
However, Cavinton Forte has a number of contraindications. It is not recommended for use in cases of severe cardiac arrhythmias, high functional class angina, pregnancy and lactation.
