In case of an overdose of ketotifen fumarate, drowsiness, confusion, disorientation, changes in heart rate, decreased blood pressure, shortness of breath, increased excitability and, in some cases, coma may occur. Treatment of overdose includes gastric lavage, taking activated charcoal and saline laxatives, as well as symptomatic therapy.

When using ketotifen fumarate, you should pay attention to some application features. The drug may cause drowsiness and poor concentration, so it is not recommended to engage in activities that require increased alertness, such as driving or operating dangerous machinery.
