Cyst Dental Subperiosteal

A subperiosteal dental cyst (s. dentalis sub periostealis, or dental root cyst) is a pathological formation that forms in the tissues surrounding the tooth root. It can be caused by various factors such as infection, trauma or improper dental treatment.

A dental root cyst is a cavity filled with fluid or pus. It can grow large and cause discomfort, pain and other symptoms.

Treatment for dental root cysts may include surgical removal, irrigating the cavity, or using antibiotics. However, before starting treatment, it is necessary to diagnose and determine the type of cyst.
