Valve Tebeziev

Under normal conditions, blood circulates throughout the body in a system of closed vessels. It is delivered to each organ from the heart through the arteries, and then returns to the heart muscle through arterioles and capillaries. Due to various factors, blood can begin to move in the opposite direction - from the organs to the heart. To prevent this from happening, the body has valves - special flaps that protect blood vessels from reverse blood flow. The Tebesia valve is one of them. It is also called the venous sinus valve or venous valve. It has a round shape and is located in the human head.
