Coxitis Postinfectious

Afterinfection coxitis or infiltrative coxitis is an inflammation of the joint that can occur after an infectious disease. This is usually caused by bacteria or other infectious agents that enter the joint and cause inflammation. Symptoms of Afterinfection coxitis include pain, swelling, redness and limited joint mobility. Treatment consists of using antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs, as well as physical therapy to restore joint function. However, if symptoms do not improve or go away, surgery may be required
