Trachoma-like conjunctivitis

**Conjunctivitis** is an inflammation of the mucous membrane of the eye. The conjunctiva may become inflamed as a result of infection, allergic reaction, or irritation. If conjunctitis is left untreated, it can lead to blurred vision and, in severe cases, loss of the eye.

**Trachoma conjunctivitis (**from the Latin trachoma - caterpillar) is a mucopurulent inflammation of the conjunctiva with a characteristic picture and symptoms during the most active phase of the inflammatory process, and more often occurs as a type of conjunctivitis with copious discharge, its greenness, sorinxes, quickly transforming into pigment epithelium with subsequent blindness.

Please note that if you have conjunctivitis, you can seek qualified medical help.
