Cordiamin-Rusfar is an analeptic drug produced in Russia by the Rusichi-Pharma company. The active substance is nicotinic acid diethylamide, also known as nicotinic acid diethylamide. The drug is available in the form of an oral solution containing 25% active substance.

Cordiamin-Rusfar is used for acute and chronic circulatory disorders, for decreased vascular tone and weakened breathing in patients with infectious diseases and in convalescents, for acute collapse and asphyxia, for shock conditions that occur during surgical interventions and in the postoperative period, as well as for asphyxia of newborns.

A contraindication to the use of Cordiamin-Rusfar is a predisposition to seizures. This drug is not recommended for use without a doctor's prescription.

There were no side effects when using Cordiamin-Rusfar. There were also no interactions with other drugs or overdose.

However, it should be borne in mind that subcutaneous and intramuscular injections of cordiamine can be painful. To reduce the pain of the injection, novocaine 0.5-1% solution in a volume of 1 ml is sometimes pre-injected into the injection site.
