I want to tell you about a recently released new product from L'Oreal Paris.
This is Aqua-fluid for the face “Genius of Moisturizing” for normal skin and skin prone to dryness L'Oreal Hydra Genius Daily Liquid Care Glow Aloe Water + Hyaluronic Normal/Dry Skin.

In total, three products for different skin types entered our market.
-Aqua-fluid for the face “Genius of Moisturizing” for normal skin and skin prone to dryness
-Aqua-fluid for face “Genius of Moisturizing” for dry and sensitive skin
-Aqua-fluid for the face “Genius of Moisturizing” for normal and combination skin.

It seems to me that if the brand takes such steps across the Russian market, I will be in love with it.
I have sensitive combination skin prone to dryness, so I opted for a product for normal dry skin.





The bottle is packaged in a cardboard box and protective thermal film, like most products from the brand, this is a huge and additional plus.

So, the bottle. This is glass. Chic and interesting design, these are not plastic tubes and jars. I especially love glass care, because it is certainly beautiful and aesthetically pleasing.
The bottle is pleasant to hold and use.
The dispenser is good, convenient and neat, the same as that of the Alliance Perfect foundation.
I like him. It does not spit and dispenses the product sparingly and accurately.




The bottle itself is a little cloudy, but you can still see the product itself and its residue during use.





The texture of the fluid is light, pleasant to the touch and not at all sticky when used.
The product is not transparent, but rather cloudy, as if it actually contains aloe juice.
The texture is moderately silicone, but I can’t say it’s strong.





The aroma of the product is not particularly strong and intrusive, when used it melts and I don’t smell it anymore, which is quite good, I don’t like strong fragrances in products.

I’ll be honest, I don’t understand ingredients; I’m more guided by how the skin feels during use.

When distributed over the skin, the fluid instantly melts and the skin literally eats it up.
It does not leave stickiness or unpleasant sensations. After this fluid, you can apply your care in the form of a cream, but you can leave it as is.
I have been using this product since August and when the warm summer sun was shining outside, I applied this fluid simply after the toner, but now the weather has completely deteriorated and I additionally use my nourishing cream.
I would like to note that the product does not conflict with skincare products from other brands, but quite easily complements them.
I cannot point out specific features in application.
The foundation is applied very well to the fluid, it does not roll off and is not capricious.

There is an effect from the product, I can’t call it strong, of course, but I see that the skin receives hydration in a normal amount and looks healthier and well-groomed.
The consumption is average, approximately one full press on the dispenser and this amount of product is enough for my entire face and one press on the neck and décolleté area.

Duration of use is 1.5 months daily, twice a day.
The price is 500 rubles, depending on the store and during discount periods, you can buy cheaper.
Grade4 out of 5(I'm taking one point off for making too big promises, this is just a good moisturizer for problem-free skin).

Again I’m writing about a new product from L’Oreal - this time it’s the L’Oreal Hydra Genius Aqua Fluid “Genius of Hydration” moisturizing fluid with aloe for normal and combination skin.

There are three products in the line, so you can choose the right product for any skin type.

My skin is closer to normal, but sometimes it rebels towards the mixed type.

In general, the purpose of the product is right for me!

General product information:

I will not go into an analysis of the composition and a deep description of this product; I will immediately tell you about my impressions, especially since I have something to share.

L'Oreal Genius Moisturizer very loudly declares on the packaging that it is able to penetrate deep into the epidermis up to 5 layers and intensively moisturize the skin for 72 hours.

To be honest, I find it difficult to answer how to check this. Moreover, I read somewhere in other people’s reviews that it actually does not moisturize for 72 hours.

I would like to ask then, does a person really not wash his face all this time to check whether L'Oreal aqua fluid moisturizes during this time or not?

It is logical that after washing you need to apply a moisturizer or nourisher again.

I am against such “hardcore”, and counting the layers of the epidermis is borderline fantastic for me.

Therefore, I used L'Oreal fluid the old fashioned way: in the morning after washing my face and in the evening before bed.

The texture of the fluid is very pleasant, not sticky, so I liked it right away.

This scent is not for everyone, can you imagine what an expensive unisex perfume smells like? Slightly harsh and not clear: male or female.

Not everyone will like this, and if you don’t apply makeup, the smell will remain on the skin for some time.

I love such scents, after two weeks of daily use I did not get tired of it. But before buying this product it’s worth smelling, you never know.

The fluid applies well, fits perfectly under makeup, and does not crease together with foundation.

But the product has one “but”.

If the composition contains aloe juice and hyaluronic acid, then the product should be quite liquid and well moisturize.

Everything seems to be fine with the texture, I initially thought that due to this consistency the fluid would be economical, one press of the pump would be enough to apply to the entire face, as with similar products.

But no, I need to squeeze out three whole portions of this fluid onto my not very large face.

By the way, the dispenser is convenient.

But this portion provides excellent hydration.

For example, on weekends I don’t use decorative cosmetics; the fluid really moisturizes the skin at a good level.

Due to the fact that the bottle contains 70 ml. and a rather low price for such a product, it can be forgiven for being uneconomical.

An oily sheen, as the manufacturer promises, does not occur during the time the product is worn on the skin.

For those who like to delve into the composition, I’ll tell you right away - it’s not ideal, but luxury fluid-serums have a similar one. It's not organic.

And I don’t like organic cosmetics, it doesn’t suit me.

I will definitely use this product to the end and maybe repeat it if nothing new comes along.

It keeps its promises, is inexpensive, and comfortable in every sense. Well done L'Oreal.

Genius Hydration is available for 3 different skin types:

1. For normal and mixed
2. For normal to dry skin
3. For dry and sensitive

As someone with oily skin 25+, I tried two of them. I really liked the first one, for normal skin, but for the fall-winter I decided to take the second option, since the frosty air outside and the dry air in the apartment have a very negative effect on my skin.
Today we’ll talk about the second one - fluid for normal and dry skin.

I try to catch discounts. The cheapest thing I've seen so far is on Ozone for 419 rubles.

As one might expect, far from eco-friendly. But L'Oreal do not position themselves as BIO. In fact, there are enough harmful substances, again - alcohol is in the first place in the composition. But as practice has shown, it is 100% comfortable for my skin, so I can safely turn a blind eye to the composition.
In general, all information regarding the gel, including the composition, is presented only on the box - it is not duplicated on the bottle. So keep that in mind.

The fluid smells pleasant and fresh, it is 100% unisex. Something sea and very fresh. It's a pity that the scent doesn't stay on the skin.

Its texture is gel-like and watery. Much like aloe vera gels. It's not liquid, but it still runs down your hand. I think this consistency is ideal for the summer, it absorbs very quickly and is very refreshing.

It spreads easily and quickly over the skin. My skin just absorbs it after washing. Absorbs really almost instantly.

I use it 1-2 times a day, apply it to clean skin after washing. I can note that the consumption is quite economical. This gel is more liquid than, for example, for normal and mixed skin, and accordingly less is consumed. I've had it for several months now and haven't used it up yet.
But, keep in mind that the consumption is still higher than that of a classic regular cream.

The dispenser works like a charm, does not spit or jam. Dispenses accurately the optimal amount of gel.

I also really like using it as a base for makeup - it’s light (even very light), doesn’t clog pores at all, and doesn’t weigh down the skin.
At the same time, it clearly evens out, moisturizes, and fights flaking.

This is what my skin looks like BEFORE applying the gel (immediately after washing):

And something like this AFTER (there really is practically no visual difference, but you can feel it: the skin is well moisturized, but at the same time matted, the skin tone is even).

I don’t see any hydration from it for 72 hours, since I wash my face much more often. But what I get also suits me 200%. Cool powerful thing, and the price doesn’t bite. I think I will buy it again and again.
The only thing is that in my opinion it is not suitable for dry skin. Too light. Ideal for my oily person!
