Application Ritual

In the morning and/or evening, use your fingertips to apply a small amount of cream, the size of a grain of rice, to the eye contour, including under the eyebrows. Using circular movements, starting from the inner corner of the eye, rub the cream into the skin, first the lower eyelid, then the upper.

As promised in the first part of the story about Chanel care, I’ll tell you separately about products for the area around the eyes. Chanel doesn't have a lot of eye care - only five lines. I used four of them - from the first signs of aging, from wrinkles, lifting and “from everything”.

I propose to consider the funds in increasing order of “seriousness” and price

1. Chanel Beaute Initiale Eye – Toning gel for the skin around the eyes

Expanded opinion:
The gel is light pink in color with a pearl shimmer. It’s very light, doesn’t absorb too quickly, and leaves me feeling “wet” on my skin.
Designed to strengthen the skin with vitamins and trace elements, as well as moisturize and increase microcirculation (blue ginger). Yeast is responsible for fighting dark circles.
In fact, everything honestly microcirculates (you feel warm), strengthens and moisturizes. I don’t have dark circles, and my “swelling” can only be dealt with by lymphatic drainage massage, if they appear. Those who hope to use this product to overcome swelling or edema should first assess the size of the disaster - the gel does not have a clear tightening effect, unlike point 3 in this post.
Separately, it is worth noting the wonderful pink tint of all products from the Chanel Beaute Initiale line, which looks very beautiful on the skin (especially on even skin).
Even more “separate” is the rolling properties of this gel. The only Chanel product I can remember that creases. Nothing criminal, but girls who are used to rubbing their eyes will immediately notice.

Summary: if I had known about this remedy when I was 20 years old, I would have been able to, if not avoid, then at least significantly delay the appearance of facial wrinkles around the eyes, a bunch of lost nerve cells and monetary units. You should not look at age recommendations 25+, etc. (I'm 27 and it's clearly too late). It’s better to strengthen, moisturize, increase microcirculation and prevent it while you can - then you can only hope for progress in the cosmetic industry.

2. Chanel Ultra Correction Line Repair Anti-wrinkle Eye Cream – Emulsion for the skin around the eyes

It is difficult to call this product an “emulsion” - an absolute cream in the usual sense.

Among the stated effects of the product are the smoothing of wrinkles by slowing down the glycation process (suriana maritis), the elimination of puffiness and dark circles.

I used this cream for a little over a month and did not see a dramatic effect. Let’s make a reservation about what “dramatic effect” means in my understanding - when manufacturers, store salespeople and TV advertising in unison differentiate age categories, then it is somehow expected that wrinkles will clearly appear on you at 35 years old, the oval of your face will blur at 45 +, as expected. And then on your 35th birthday you will come, buy the necessary cream and wrinkles will be erased like an eraser (up to 45+, until your face blurs). So, “like an eraser” is not about this cream. The skin is moisturized, elasticity is present, dark circles are no longer there. Branded “Chanel” optical effects are present, where without them - here is the blur effect (the light is refracted, like looking through frosted glass - everything is blurry, including wrinkles). In general, everything is smoothed out, softened, correctors and foundations are not forgotten. But at the same time, nothing was pushed out anywhere and this is sad. Perhaps it's a matter of time. I would continue to use this cream if not for step 4 below.
The age category in my opinion is 25+ or as soon as you “squint” the first hint of facial wrinkles.

3. Chanel Ultra Correction Lift Total Eye Lift – Integral lifting care for the eye contour

White cream with a dense texture.

Claimed effects include increasing skin elasticity (stimulating the production of its own tensin, collagen and elastin), reducing swelling and dark circles.

I already talked about swelling and dark circles, so I can’t judge the effect. But I can judge the presence of a tightening effect and what else. I have deep-set eyes and any careless movement (like too much water at night, etc.) results in slightly droopy eyelids, so I'm an ideal candidate for testing out any eye-lifting products. I won’t say which ingredient in the cream is responsible for the instant tightening, but it clearly works. I read that some girls refuse this product because the feeling of tension in the skin is too obvious for them. It makes sense to ask for a sample of the product before purchasing (fortunately, the sample sizes are 3 ml). I only use it on the upper eyelid. For the bottom I use step 4.
Regarding age restrictions - this line is declared from 45 years old, but I already talked about this in paragraph 2. In my opinion, as a means for an immediate effect, it is suitable at any age if there is a problem or if there is nothing to stretch yet, but aging is in the family goes according to the “sagging” type.

4. Chanel Sublimage Essential Regenerating Rich Eye Cream – Fundamental regenerating intensive cream for the eye contour

The cream is white in color and does not have a clear golden tint like other products in the line.

Overall optimistic

In fact, I’ve been using the cream for a little less than a month (switched from step 2) and in my opinion, this is the best product (and the best line) currently available in luxury. In addition to the feeling of pride that we “did our best” for our skin, we get hydration, nutrition, light reflection and blur - 2 in 1, as well as (drum roll) noticeable smoothing of wrinkles in record time (only fillers are record-breaking in my experience ). All the fun for 6,000 rubles and kopecks. By the way, the cost of beauty injections in the eye area varies between 10-12 thousand.

And once again about the age category - it is stated from 45 years old, but anyone who believes that in order to receive all the benefits from total antiage products you need to wait until 45, let him be the first to throw a stone at my smoothed out wrinkles

A small digression regarding the price/volume/consumption ratio: the standard volume of all Chanel eye products is 15 ml. One press of the pump dispenses a portion the size of half a pea. This is enough for one application on both eyes. For funds in banks, you need to train jewelry precision. When used daily in the morning and evening, the volume is 15 ml. It lasts me about three months on average.
