Sacrococcygeal Loop

The sacrococcygeal muscles are formed from the lower branches of the ilium, prostate and ischium, sacrum and coccyx. They begin in the pelvic region and pass through the perineum, the lateral angle of the anal canal and attach to the coccyx and the free end of the coccygeal bone.
