Crypts of the Amygdala

Tonsil crypt, or simply crypt, is an infection of the tonsils or throat that is caused by an infection of a toxin-producing bacterium. The crypt is a depression in the palatine tonsils, which are located between the soft and hard palate. This disease is usually popularly called tonsillitis.
