Kurlova Ordinates

Kurlova Ordinata - Soviet therapist and balneologist, born in 1859 in the city of Kurlovo, Vladimir region. In 1880 he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Moscow University, where he studied under the guidance of Professor S.P. Botkin.

Kurlov Ordinat worked in various hospitals in Moscow and St. Petersburg, where he treated patients with various diseases. He was known for his research in balneology, which helped develop new treatments for diseases.

In 1913, Kurlova Ordinat became the head of the department of therapy at Moscow University. He was also a member of the Imperial Academy of Sciences and other scientific societies.

After the October Revolution, Kurlov Ordinat continued to work in medical institutions, but his scientific research was suspended due to political persecution. In 1930 he was arrested and sent into exile to Solovki.

Only after the death of Stalin, Kurlov was allowed to return to Moscow and continue his scientific activities. He died in 1932 and was buried at the Novodevichy cemetery.

Today Kurlova Ordinata is considered one of the outstanding therapists and balneological researchers in Russia. His scientific works are still used in medicine and are an important contribution to the development of medical science.
