The concept of double cleansing has taken the beauty world by storm in recent years. I have been an adherent of double cleansing for a long time and would like to talk about the cleansers that are currently present in my daily routine.

La Roche-Posay Toleriane Caring Wash

I didn't expect much when I bought this product, but now it's firmly established in my bathroom and I'll definitely be repeating it. I needed a gentle, simple, “boring” cleanser that would be suitable for morning and evening and would not further irritate the skin.

The texture is something between a gel, milk and a cleansing cream, very delicate, sliding (I would even say kind of smooth), a little similar to CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser (which, by the way, I don’t really like), but much more pleasant for me. The composition includes niacinamide, ceramides, panthenol and vitamin E, which are aimed at moisturizing and soothing the skin. There is no smell. The product does not foam or dry at all (unlike Effaclar H, which still stung a little on dry and irritated areas), after washing there is no feeling of tightness or “creaking”, just fresh and clean skin. Despite all the “boring”, I use this product with pleasure every day.

I ordered this product along with the famous salicylic peeling Bravura, which I really liked (but not about it now). The consistency of this wash (and the manufacturer also recommends using it as a mask) is similar to a mixture of a clay mask and cream; the smell is quite strong, but pleasant. cosmetic. The product, like the previous one, does not dry out the skin at all, despite the presence of 5% glycolic acid and several types of clays.
