Treatment of dirty ulcers

When treating them, you should use astringents, starting first with the most powerful and burning ones, as we said in the rules of treatment, and then gradually moving on, for example, to bedbug or aristolochia with honey and a small amount of vinegar. Also good is the resin of the turpentine tree with an equal amount of rose oil or ghee, or iris root with honey, or lenticular vetch flour and opopanax herb.

Among the complex medicines, they use Indian plaster and all green plasters, that is, verdigris plasters, pure or mixed with usshak or something like that, as well as plasters prepared with lenticular vetch flour, a patch with salt, black cakes, green flatbreads and flatbreads called kurmujanis. Drying medicines include the following: take equal amounts of olive oil grounds, honey and alum, or take equal amounts of white lead and Dubrovnik polyum. In case of severe contamination, horehound with honey helps, and salted olives are good medicinal dressings. And here, too, sometimes it becomes necessary to use flowing medicines to wash out ulcers, as we will say in the paragraph on deep ulcers; they are all harmful if there is a tumor.
