Kaparapuru fever is an infectious disease caused by the arbovirus of the same name. It is found primarily in Latin America, namely Brazil, Peru, Colombia and the Caribbean islands. This infection belongs to the group of tropical mosquito fevers and is also known as "Peruvian river fever"
