Liposarcoma is classified as mesenchymal tumors and membrane tumors. Liposarcoma is often called a tumor that is histologically similar in structure to a lipoma, as well as breast tumors that have an area of ​​lipomatous structure or appear to be “fatty.”



Liposarcoma is the most common lipomatous tumor seen in children and young adults aged 20 to 35 years. It develops from lobular adipose tissue cells that are found in structures in and around the fat capsule or perivascular stroma, e.g. skin, mammary jelly
