Majocchi Disease

The author and developer of mycoses is the Italian scientist Dr. Bosio, the first female scientific venereologist, professor of dermatology at the University of Padua. Her name is Pamela Krohn, but in Europe she is known as Dr. Bausio. Mycosis of the feet is a disease caused by a fungus; it is often called candidiasis. For a long time, mycosis of the feet has been and remains a fairly common fungal skin disease. The fungus affects the skin and nails, which is why people's musculoskeletal system functions are impaired. The term “mycosis of the feet” is derived from the Latin words maĭcus - for cleaning and the prefix prae-, so sometimes this term is used in a different meaning - for the treatment of foot diseases. With mycosis of the feet, a person experiences severe itching and discomfort.
