Moisturizing mousse for normal to dry skin
This product is a cleansing product that contains as much as 40% serums Nutrium Moisture™ Beauty Serum. It is this that allows you to deeply moisturize the skin and prevent overdrying, relieve the feeling of dryness and tightness.
The formula also contains important vitamin E - it nourishes, restores, rejuvenates and softens the skin.
The pot-bellied bottle contains 160 ml of product, and the special design of the dispenser turns it into a thick and dense foam of millions of tiny bubbles.
The aroma of the entire line is very fresh, something cottony, delicate, reminiscent of the classic Dove scent.
The texture of the foam is pleasant, this mousse is not watery, quite elastic.
It cleanses the skin perfectly and does not dry it out at all, even before applying skincare products the face feels comfortable.
Hydrating micellar water with a good composition, it is suitable for evening care and provides quick makeup removal.
The formula is fragrance-free and alcohol-free, which is a big plus.
We look further at the composition and find niacinamide. A famous component that effectively brightens and has anti-inflammatory properties.
Next on the list is panthenol - softens, restores, in general, provides everything that dry and sensitive skin needs.
Water in a convenient bottle with a dispenser; I usually use 4 pumps per cotton pad.
Standard makeup in the form of mascara, light tone, eyebrow gel and blush is removed in just a couple of minutes. It quickly dissolves all decorative cosmetics, except matte lipsticks.
After this micellar water, the skin is tender, soft, there is no tightness or tingling. According to the manufacturer, it does not require rinsing, although I have long trained myself to rid my face of makeup remover products.
Water can also be used in the morning to cleanse, tone and moisturize the skin.
Moisturizing cream-gel for washing very similar to those famous foams from Korean/Japanese washing schemes.
The texture on the hand and when applied resembles a simple cream. It doesn't lather very strongly, cleanses gently, and the skin after washing is very, very velvety.
The cream feels similar to mousse, except that the texture is different.
The cream-gel comes in a soft tube with a standard cap.
The consumption is minimal, the tube will last for a very long time. Can handle light makeup.
well and Micellar gel with oils I was pleasantly surprised by its properties.
This product is simply a salvation for those who constantly wear bright makeup and don’t like harsh products to remove it!
The formula with micromicelles (enriched with oils) is designed to quickly remove any makeup.
And there are really a lot of oils in the composition:
· argan,
· macadamia,
· olive,
· avocado,
· sweet almonds,
· jojoba,
· grapes.
The texture is gel, thick. According to the instructions, it should be applied to damp skin, massage and rinse. But I also discovered the option of applying it to dry skin, as is done with hydrophilic oils.
The result in both cases is excellent - even persistent cream shadows and BB creams are washed off without rubbing or waiting for a long time.
I am very pleased that this product is 2in1. At the same time, it removes makeup + cleanses and moisturizes the skin.
It's no secret that this “oil” is gentle on the skin, moisturizes and gives a feeling of comfort.
Ruler Dove with the new unique Nutrium Moisture™ Beauty Serum - just a godsend for dry skin! You will forget about the feeling of tightness and flaking - all the products in the line are aimed at deeply moisturizing, nourishing and restoring the skin.

I finally got to the review of Dove cleansers, and under the cut you will find three products at once: mousse, cream gel and micellar gel with oils.
Let me make a small digression: I have loved Dove dearly since back in 2002, when my mother first bought fragrant soap with a dove in a box with a blue stripe (the very first, classic version). This aroma has since then been associated with purity and freshness. Ever since then I’ve also loved soap; I can’t get enough of it. I lather myself with it from head to toe, use it for intimate hygiene, and sometimes wash my baby with it. As a teenager, I often washed my face, and even now it happens, for example, when after a standard cleanser there is no full feeling of cleanliness.
I also use it not entirely for its intended purpose - as a fragrance for linen (yes, I still prefer soap to special sachets, I left them for clothes on hangers). One of the best feelings: after a relaxing bath, lying down with a book in your hands on fresh, ironed, pleasantly smelling linen. For me, this is the personification of home comfort, an element of hygge, so to speak (despite the fact that I simply hate ironing bed linen).
So, this little lyrical digression is a summary of the fact that I adore Dove - from the idea and concept to the pricing policy. Even as a teenager, I thought that it would be nice for them to release cleansers, and in 2018 it happened - Dove launched a line of cleansers, which included a cleansing mousse in three versions, a cream-gel cleanser also in three versions, and a micellar gel and micellar water in two versions. I wanted to try everything, but I’ve never seen “Care” mousse, cream-gel and micellar water on wide sale, although I think I personally shouldn’t buy it, since my skin is not dry after all. In the end, I still bought everything I found, and this is most of the series.
In this post I’ll talk about mattifying mousse, moisturizing cream gel and micellar gel. We will talk about moisturizing mousse and micellar water in the second part
Dove Mattifying Mousse Cleanser for Matte Skin and Clear Pores
Facial cleansing mousse for minim pores and oil
The mousse initially interested me the most, since I love various foams for washing. I was confused by the large sticker stating that Dove is the No. 1 brand in Japan. Cough cough, we thought that this palm tree belonged to Biore, and in general, in Japan, have you definitely heard about the existence of Dove? And this is even brand No. 1, right? It seems like a small thing, but the sensations are strange.
In general, I immediately wanted to compare the Dove and Biore mousses, but I bought one (Dove) mattifying, and the other (Biore) a moisturizing one, so for the purity of the comparison, I later bought the Dove moisturizing mousse.
The packaging is convenient, the pump works great: with one press you can get a portion of thick (more dense than usual), but light foam.
To avoid leakage during horizontal storage or transportation, the bottle is equipped with a matching stopper with a dove. The volume is not quite standard - 160 ml.
The aroma is amazing, very much in the spirit of the brand: delicate, clean, with floral notes. This is, of course, very subjective, but I really like the scent of the mattifying mousse.
Cleans efficiently and gently, without squeaking. If you want, you can wash off non-waterproof cosmetics; if you really want to, you can even wash off waterproof ones (I tried this as an experiment :)) It doesn’t tighten the skin, the cleansing is not aggressive, but there is one caveat: it dries out the skin slightly. BUT! NOT oily skin! When I apply a thicker product at night, after which the skin is quite oily and shiny, the mousse does not dry me out at all. It also didn’t dry out when my skin had an attack in the form of a terrible scattering of inflammation and increased oiliness. Thus, the conclusion arises that really oily (or at least combination) skin should not have problems, and normal skin does not need matting.
I didn’t notice any significant effect on the condition and quality of the skin, but it’s just a cleanser
The consumption is quite normal, the mousse will definitely not run out in a couple of weeks.
In terms of price/quality ratio, the mousse more than satisfied me, it even made it into the favorites of 2018 (yes, despite the fact that it slightly dries out the skin). I think it's just right for the summer.
Moisturizing Cream-Gel Wash for smooth and hydrated skin
Facial cleansing foam for soft, smooth and moisturized skin
The cream gel is contained in a standard soft tube with a volume of 120 ml. I don’t really like these; residues of the product often accumulate in their lids and dry out, but these are details. I can't remember if there was protective foil on the feed port: I think there was, but I'm not sure.
The consistency corresponds to the name; it is a cream-gel, moderately thick. It comes out normally, no more is squeezed out than what is needed. It foams weakly, which is normal for such a product, but for me it’s a problem - I don’t really like weak foaming in cleansers. I understand that this is a stereotype stuck in the subcortex, but I don’t like it, and that’s all. For the same reason, at one time I didn’t like the Nut Gel Foam Cleanser “Energy of the North” - a non-foaming product, which for some reason was called foam.
In principle, if we abstract from this moment, the cream-gel cleanses quite well, but I wouldn’t do makeup remover with it and I didn’t even try it, since I almost immediately sent the gel for morning washing, and there it shows itself perfectly: gently cleans, does not dry and does not tighten. If necessary, it rinses off the remaining cleansing oil well and rinses off on its own. No film or any discomfort. I don’t particularly believe in moisturizing from cleansers, but this cream-gel will definitely suit the stated skin type (for normal and dry-prone skin).
Good washbasin? Quite, but I won't repeat it because I don't like the scent. I don't like the fragrance in all Dove cleansers labeled "moisturizing" (it's the same). As for me, it’s quite bright, I would prefer the scent of their classic soap (especially since the moisturizing line comes with the familiar and iconic blue stripe). It’s not fatal, you can survive it (I’m using it somehow now), but it’s still a little frustrating.
I find it difficult to rate, because there are no objectively significant shortcomings, but the scent is not mine.
Micellar makeup remover gel with oils
Oil-infused micellar gel gently removes stubborn makeup and hydrates skin
A small bottle (120 ml), equipped with a pump with a locking mechanism.
The pump is quite convenient, the gel does not splash in all directions. I pour a little into my palm, rub it lightly and apply it to my face.
The consistency is interesting: it is a liquid gel with oils, but it does not leave any oily traces. Foaming is practically absent, but a couple of times I caught a light foam with some random successful ratio of the amount of water and gel.
The fragrance, unfortunately, is exactly the same as the cream-gel, that is, I don’t like it. Micellar gel is presented in one version, unlike other products.
I really counted on this gel as a budget replacement for hydrophilic oil, since lately I often don’t want to bother with discs and micellar water, and my makeup is often rich, made with long-lasting products.
So, this gel will not replace hydrophilic products. Firstly, when distributed over the skin, it does not emulsify, and as if it immediately flows through the fingers, you get the feeling that you are simply rubbing wet skin with wet hands, you have to add gel. Secondly, makeup, especially long-lasting eye cosmetics, does not wash off immediately. If it comes into contact with the eyes, it may sting slightly, but not much; irritation has never occurred after use. As a result, the micellar gel was used up quite quickly, and at the moment it is the only completely used product of all.
By the way, since the gel does not leave any oily residue, there is no need to use another cleanser after it, but I still used either the Noreva Exfoliac foaming gel or the same Dove mousse.
I won’t repeat it - it’s not the most successful product for me, I continue to search for a budget hydrophilic oil.
These are the results of my acquaintance with Dove cleansing: I expected something slightly different, but overall I’m rather pleased.
In the second part (later) I will talk about the moisturizing mousse (and compare it with the Biore mousse) and moisturizing micellar water.
