Introduction

Medical and sanitary property is - (us.r.): medicinal or medical property used for the purpose of diagnosing and treating diseases, as well as providing preventive medical care. a - a set of medical or sanitary products, medicines, equipment, tools, technical devices, cosmetics and dressings intended for providing medical care in field conditions; means of providing first aid to victims of accidents and incidents. In this definition, three main components can be distinguished: medical property (medicines), medical instruments and household materials. Medical and sanitary reserves are special material assets that have a huge share in ensuring the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population: a set of individual first aid kits AI-2 or AI-4, anti-chemical respiratory protection for workers in the chemical industry, shipping and river boats, and fishery workers ( PPE kits); protective kits; vehicles for working in emergency zones; safety equipment; lighting. All types of property, with the exception of civil defense funds, constitute MSI. The supply of MSI is organized by a medical worker, taking into account the climatic, hygienic, and environmental characteristics of the area where economic facilities, settlements, and medical institutions are located. The heads of healthcare institutions and other economic facilities are responsible for the stock of property. Employees of medical institutions ensure the safety of existing property and keep it in constant readiness for delivery. The issuance of property can be carried out according to civil defense signals through the appropriate medical service. The issuance can be made both on the initiative of the heads of medical services and by the decision of the heads of economic entities (enterprises, firms, etc.) in accordance with pre-approved schedules. MSI include mobile medical posts created in wartime. They are equipped with means of preventing and combating infectious diseases in certain areas; property for providing ambulance and emergency medical care; individual protection means; medical transport (types of transport depending on their purpose).
