Myopic cone or posterior cone is a cone-shaped protrusion located in the area of ​​the optic nerve and is a complication of myopia. This formation has a pale tint and is located behind the fundus of the eye. The dimensions of this formation can be quite different. As a rule, it does not cause any discomfort to the patient and does not lead to visual impairment.
