Morula

Morulas - (English morula) are human eggs or male sperm, united into a single mass covered with a membrane. This microorganism got its name from the Latin (lat. morum - mulberry tree). It is a cellular structure reminiscent of a mulberry or grape seed. When exposed to certain environmental factors, it can turn into a zygote - a cell containing all the genetic material of the parent. Mainly used in reproductive biology research.
