Mucinosis Skin Papular

Mucinous papulomatosis (mucinous disease) is a benign formation of shapeless brown papules and large pearly white conglomerates, such as “turrets” on the extremities. The disease most often occurs in the form of spots of various sizes, colors and shapes on the buttocks, thighs, lateral surfaces of the chest and abdomen. In some cases, the papules form large conglomerates that resemble faded grapes or clusters of muscadine cherries, which are called stigmatoids. The color of skin mucinosis is white-yellow, sharply wrinkled, prominently protruding with significant folds.
