In fact, fibroids are benign tumors that can appear in different parts of the body, including muscles, organs, and even blood vessels. One type of such tumors is myomatous tumors or fibroids. These tumors usually develop from muscle cells called myocytes and can range in size from a few millimeters to several centimeters in diameter.
