Muscle, Sublingual (M. Hyoglossus, Pna, Bna, Jna)

Muscle hyoglossus Hyoglossus is a muscle, one of the two muscles of the hyoid fold. Raises the tongue, pushes it to the left and up, and also lowers the lower part of the cheek and wrinkles between the eyes. The hyoglossus includes two late-born muscles: the latter, which is divided into two parts - the head and the root; and get nervous. The functions of both types of hyoglossae are exactly the same as those of the main muscle.
