Condyle Occipital

The muscular occipital bone is one of the bones of the human skull that forms the back of the skull and allows muscles to attach to it. This bone is strong enough to protect the brain from injury and help the body maintain proper posture. The muscular occipital bone is also known as the mastoid bone. It is located at the base of the back of the head and has the shape of a triangle.

The bones of the human skull include not only the brain part, but also the facial bone, orbit, lower jaw and temporomandibular joint.
