Epicondyle

The epicondyles are small bony projections at the ends of the human humerus. They are located on the anterior and posterior surfaces of the humerus, just below its head. There are only two epicondyles - lateral (external) and medial (internal).

The epicondyle is an important anatomical formation, as it serves as a support for the muscles that are involved in the movement of the arm. Also, the epicondyles can be injured when falling on an outstretched arm or when hitting it.

To treat epicondyle injuries and prevent their complications, it is necessary to contact a traumatologist who will diagnose and prescribe appropriate treatment.
