Neurodermatitis Disseminated

Neurodermatitis disseminated is a chronic recurrent human dermatosis. People call it “median” dermatitis. It is caused by various reasons, regardless of the provoking factor, it manifests itself in the same way - the presence of areas of dry, thickened skin that cracks at the slightest load. The diagnosis is confirmed only by medical diagnostic methods and is made for a very long time before treatment measures are prescribed. Upon external examination and at the initial stages of the development of the disease, there are no characteristic symptoms, including itching or increased vulnerability. Disseminated neurodermatitis affects the peripheral parts of the upper and lower extremities, back, abdominal cavity, chest and head simultaneously. Women aged 20 to 50 years are most often affected. There are the following forms of this disease:

1. Red flat neurodermatitis - brightly colored pigment plaques turn into peeling and cracks. The skin becomes red and covered with shiny erosions. A painful sensation occurs with any pressure.

Neurodermatitis Disseminated is a rare chronic disease that occurs as a result of the destruction of nerve fibers due to impaired immunoregulation and supraorgan response. Disorders of immune regulation lead to the accumulation of special substances in the affected areas of the skin - neurotransmitters and acetylcholines, which provides their clinical picture, characterized by papules, lichenification and erythematous elements. The disease occurs predominantly in people of young working age, usually accompanied by functional and psycho-emotional disorders of various organs and systems of the body.
