Neuroretinitis

Neuroretinitis (neuroretinitis) is an acute or chronic inflammation of the neuroretinoid plexus of the retina. Treatment of neuroretinitis, depending on the stage and severity of the disease, is carried out in inpatient therapy, ophthalmic surgery and rehabilitation. Most often, treatment of neuroretinitis consists of etiotropic and pathogenetic treatment, as well as symptomatic maintenance therapy. Until now, one of the best methods for treating neuroretinin is the use of laser and cryosurgical methods. Currently, laser treatment of neuroratein is often used when signs of optic cell atrophy and pathological conditions of the optic nerve occur. Cryosurgery, as a method of introducing cryoagents into the tissue of the membrane around the retina and hypophthalmos, was used to treat the disease mainly at the acute stage, when vascular-platelet syndrome had not yet affected the deeper parts of the visual analyzer.
