Nelaton catheter

Introduction

The Nelatora catheter is a medical instrument that is used for catheterization of the bladder. It consists of a thin, flexible tube that is inserted into the bladder through the urethra and helps drain urine from the bladder. Nelator catheters are usually used in medical settings, but can also be used at home when long-term bladder emptying is required, for example due to bladder or kidney disease.

Description

The Nelatonov catheter is a flexible tube 40 or 60 centimeters long (different manufacturers produce different sizes), made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or silicone, which reduces the risk of infection and makes it less traumatic.
