Neoarthrosis

Neoarthrosis is a pathological condition in which the formation of new joints or the restructuring of existing ones occurs. This phenomenon can be caused by various factors such as injury, infection, tumors and other diseases.

Neoarthrosis can occur either as a result of trauma or without it. For example, when bones are fractured and do not heal properly, a false joint is formed, which can cause new bone to form. Likewise, some bone and joint diseases, such as osteomyelitis (a bone infection), may involve the formation of new bones or the remodeling of old ones.

One of the most common types of neoarthrosis is pseudarthrosis. This condition is characterized by the formation of a new joint between two bones that were previously separated. Pseudarthrosis can occur both after injury and with osteomyelitis.

Another example of neoarthrosis is arthroplasty surgery. In this case, the surgeon replaces the damaged part of the joint with an artificial structure, such as a metal implant or artificial joint.

In general, neoarthrosis is a serious disease that can lead to serious complications such as bone deformation and joint dysfunction. Therefore, if you find signs of neoarthrosis, you need to consult a doctor for diagnosis and treatment.
