Nevus Intradermal

Intradermal nevus is one of the most common forms of skin neoplasms. It consists of benign cells that are located under the skin and appear as a flat or slightly protruding formation.

Intradermal nevus can occur on any part of the body where there is skin. It most often appears on the face, especially the forehead and cheeks, as well as on the arms, legs and torso. Sometimes nevi can appear in children aged 5 to 12 years.

The causes of intradermal nevi are not fully understood, but there are certain factors that can increase the risk of their occurrence. Some of these factors include:

- Genetic predisposition - Excessive sun exposure - Changes in hormonal status - Heredity

Typically, intradermal nevi do not cause any discomfort. However, in rare cases they can cause discomfort such as itching.
