Nix

Nyx is an insecticidal cream that is used to treat scabies (infection with scabies mites) and lice pubis (lice and lice infestation). It is manufactured in Germany and the UK under the Glaxo Wellcome and Glaxo Wellcome brands.

Nyx contains the active substance permethrin, which is a synthetic pyrethroid. It is effective against scabies mites and other insects that can cause skin diseases.

Nyx cream is available in two forms: cream 1% and cream included with a comb 1%. Both contain permethrin as an active ingredient.

Indications for the use of Nyx cream are scabies and lice pubis in adults and children. The cream can be used as a stand-alone product or in combination with other drugs.

Contraindications to the use of Nyx cream include hypersensitivity to synthetic pyrethroid drugs, chrysanthemum, and pregnant and lactating women.
