Callosity

Callus, also known as “calicitosis” or “callus”, is a skin condition in the form of superficial calluses that often appear on the legs, feet, heels and knees. Calluses appear shiny and hard, often reddish-brown or black in color. Calluses can appear when there is repeated excessive stress on the skin, such as constant walking or rubbing against hard material, such as when shoes that are too tight or thin cotton socks put pressure on the knees and feet . However, in some people they can be hereditary and do not necessarily occur with constant walking. This condition has a scientific name - keratoma. When a patient with keratoma is faced with the problem of a child's wet shoes that fit tightly, there is a danger of developing foot fungus. Sores, calluses,
