After this, the period of embryonic development begins, which lasts until approximately 8 weeks after fertilization. During this time, the main organs and systems of the body are formed. For example, the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, brain and other organs are formed.

After the embryonic period, the period of fruiting development begins, which lasts until birth. During this period, further development of the organs and systems of the body occurs. For example, skin, hair, nails and other tissues are formed.

After birth, the period of childhood begins, which includes childhood and adolescence. During this period, further development of the body occurs, including physical, mental and social development.

Adult life is also part of ontogeny. During this period, the body continues to develop and undergo changes. For example, aging occurs, which is associated with changes in the function of organs and tissues.
