Epithelial tumors are the largest group of benign human neoplasms that develop from epithelial elements. This type of tumor is the most common. It is most often found in the head and neck area in adults and children, as well as in the larynx, trachea, lungs and mammary gland. The average age of patients is from 40 to 60 years. The formation of these tumors is associated with prolonged exposure to chemical factors or ionizing radiation or infectious agents due to direct contact with tuberculosis patients.
