Morphine intoxication

Morphine intoxication is an incurable addiction

Intoxication with morphine occurs through the development of tolerance (addiction) to the drug and distortion of the processes of perception, thinking, attention, memory and emotions under its influence. The use of morphine derivatives leads a person to the formation of an insurmountable addiction, despite the fact that pharmacologically morphine is recognized as a narcotic substance. Drug use is associated with negative changes in a person’s physiological and psychological state. They reduce the body's defenses, depress the central nervous system and negatively affect the immune system, increasing the risk of developing complications of diseases such as tuberculosis and sexually transmitted diseases.
