Overwork Nervous

Nervous fatigue is an outdated term denoting a deviation from the norm in a person’s mental state under the influence of prolonged overstrain of mental and physical forces, including overstrain of the processes of inhibition and excitation of the nervous system, described by the German neurologist and psychiatrist Hugo Munster (A. Müller - Lauterborn). Sometimes the phrase “nervous fatigue” is used to refer to the so-called post-stress syndrome, or stress damage syndrome. Nervous fatigue is usually promoted by chronic intoxication of the body with various substances or physical stress. Occasionally, when the nervous system is overworked, mental abnormalities such as anxiety may occur.
