Pachymeningitis Tuberculous

Tuberculosis pachymeningitis is a specific inflammatory process of the soft meninges of the brain with infiltration and fibrosis, which is caused by the causative agent of tuberculosis, Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Unlike typical tuberculous meningitis, pachymeninge causes chronic changes in the substance of the brain and membranes, while there are no pronounced general disorders, the temperature may remain normal.
