Pachymeningitis

Pachymeningtitis is an infectious inflammatory disease of the meninges of the brain and spinal cord, which develops when pathogens enter the peritoneal-inguinal and vaginal areas of the sacral vault and inflammation of the layers of the dura mater located there. There is another point of view on this inflammation: according to the second view, the disease is called “appendicitis of the membranes” and is pathognomonicly located on the side of the legs and heads of the transverse processes of the vertebrae with inflammation spreading to the periosteum, fascia between the vertebrae and ligaments, as well as to the tendons of the long back muscles.
