Cerebronal pachymeninitis - (pachymeningitis cerebri)

1. Introduction Cerebral pachymenincitis is an inflammatory process of the dura mater and arachnoid membrane of the brain, including hyperemia, edema, swelling, compaction of the dura mater, dilatation of its veins, and sometimes in acute cases - moderate leukocytosis and increased ESR.

The most common cause of pachymeninkinin is infectious agents (hemophilus influenzae, meningococcus, mycoplasma, viruses).
