Papule Polygonal

A polygonal papule is a convex point on the surface of the body, formed by the ducts of the sweat glands and sebaceous glands in humans. This type of tubercles has a wedge-shaped shape. Formed by pressure, friction or irritation of the skin. Often it is not noticeable visually and is detected only during a dermatological examination. Irritation has increased sensitivity, itching, burning, sensation of the presence of a foreign body. May itch - worsens when in contact with clothing. Such formation can be either a sign of various diseases or simply a feature of the body. Also, some authors call these formations “salismans” or “miliary papules”.
