Description of the disease Paracystitis is an inflammatory disease of the urinary tract, which is manifested by pain and burning in the perineum, the presence of blood and pus in the urine and other symptoms. Acute paracystitis is characterized by rapid development and severe pain, while chronic paracystitis is manifested by mild symptoms and exacerbation of the disease during the period of intercurrent illnesses. Acute paracystitis most often develops in women after childbirth or during menstruation due to infection entering through ruptures in the walls of the vagina, rectum and bladder. The main causes of paracystitis are urethritis, prostatitis, gynecological diseases, pathology of the immune system, hemorrhoids and other pathologies. Symptoms of acute paracystitis can manifest as pain in the pubis, legs, lower back, groin and lower abdomen. The pain can be sharp, cutting or constant. The following symptoms may also be observed: - Increased body temperature; - Pain when urinating; - Discharge mixed with blood and pus; - A urine test may detect leukocytes, bacteria and salts.
