Dressing Squad

The name "Dressing Squad" has its own history and meaning in medical practice. Here's a description of what it means.

When we talk about a “dressing detachment,” military operations come to mind first. Surgical dressings are an important part of military medicine, designed to provide first aid to wounded soldiers and prevent blood poisoning. Medical workers face two main tasks: first, to identify injuries, determine the nature and severity of the injury; the second is to perform aseptic treatment of the wound and apply dressings. A sling can stop bleeding, prevent pain shock and swelling, preserve amputation if a limb is damaged, and also support vital organs of the body.
