Peritonitis Appendicular

Peritonitis (from the Greek περιτόνειον “peritoneum, outer membrane”, -itis “inflammation”) is inflammation of the parietal peritoneum.

Appendiculosis is an acute or chronic inflammatory disease of the vermiform appendix of the human colon, developing as a result of disruption of its blood supply or the formation of stones.
