Description

Paralvek is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug used in dentistry to treat inflammatory diseases of the gums and mucous membranes of the oral cavity. The active ingredient of the drug, chlorapodiene, is a derivative of phenylacetic acid. It inhibits the activity of prostaglandin synthetase, therefore blocking the formation of PGE1. Its decongestant and analgesic effect is also associated with inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.

The drug has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antimicrobial effects. When applied to the mucous tissues of the oral cavity, it helps relieve discomfort, reduces pain, and also prevents and suppresses the development of the inflammatory process. Clinical studies conducted
