Description of the nutrient medium for isolation of cholera virbrio:
* Nutrient medium for isolating cholera and other representatives of normal microflora - provides the possibility of selection and reproduction of cholera vibrios with high sensitivity with a minimum of external influences and maintains optimal conditions for their reproduction in the cultivation volume. The composition of the nutrient medium is developed on the basis of the classical method of microbial fermentation, it involves a combination of organic and inorganic components, and therefore can be used as a starting basis for enriching other nutrient media with other microorganisms. The nutrient medium for excluding the cholera pathogen serves as the basis for determining its sensitivity to antibiotics (antimicrobials) and other agents, and can also be used for further study of isolated vibrios.
