Pleuritic Interlobar is an inflammatory disease of the pleura (the sacs inside the lungs and chest wall) that occurs as a result of infection or allergy. Interlobap is a medical term that is used to describe various diseases associated with inflammation in the pleural cavities (the space between the lungs and the chest wall). The pleural cavity consists of two layers of connective tissue that fit tightly together, forming a thin layer of fluid called pleural effusion.
