What is a chin
The chin is the cone-shaped part of a person's face, located between the lower lip and lower jaw. In addition, the shape of the chin can tell about the character of its owner. The following medical terms are used to describe the chin:
Mentum - Latin name for the chin PNA - the first character in the name means the first and second front and lower teeth; - Latin name of the person BNA - - the second letter means the second lower jaw; in the Latin alphabet it comes after the letter “d.” JNA is a Latin alphabetic term used to refer to the neck.
Chin structure
The chin consists of two structures: anterior and posterior.
The anterior chin is the most forward part of the chin. The rear chin has the greatest height of any part of the jaw. Thus, it has the appearance of a pyramidal structure rising above the level of the neck, consisting of bone, skin and muscle. During inhalation, the neck muscles relax and the back chin drops down. As you exhale, the muscles tighten again and the chin rises up. Elevating your head a little will also demonstrate how the back jaw works.
