Subtubercular Sulcus

The subtubercular groove is a depression on the posterior section of the cerebral hemisphere. This depression is bounded in front by the book fissure, in the back by the posterior commissure of the parietal and occipital lobes, and on the sides by the hemispheres of the temporal lobe. The subtubercular groove gets its name due to two features:

1. Its depth is up to 7 mm;
